I have straight teeth and never realised how much of a blessing it actually is until seeing these kinds of videos. I can't imagine having to constantly get braces tightened,food limitations,having to wear retainers for the rest of your life and still have to worry about your teeth shifting again.

I was in them for 5 years. The dentist drained my parents and then as an adult I had to get orthodontics again and they said, if only you had gotten braces when you were younger! Needless to say, find a legit dentist!

Fact. While I loved my bonded retainer, it failed after 2 years. For years I dealt with the 2 front teeth moving apart after an hour of taking off my holly retainer. Like, it felt sketchy to eat anything because the teeth and easily movable during these first few hours. I eventually just stopped wearing it and have accepted whatever gap it's at for now. My bottom bonded retainer is thankfully still attached

my doc said that after braces retainer is oblgatory and should be worn as long as possible. so everytime it breaks, I replace it with a new one. I've got a bonded retainer for 8 years, I think. once it broke down but ive waited for too long and one of the teeth moved... So retainer is for a liftime if you want straight teeth.

Me personally, I have my braces to fix the jaw issues. So I asked my dentist to keep the gap, cause I love it. So, I don’t have to worry about a relapse, teeth gaps are gorgeous❤

I have a bonded retainer and my gap is moving even with it... i went 4 times to the orthodontist and they don't understand how it's moving... some people are born to have this gap and I'm apart of it. Don't be to hard on yourself for it, it's cute 😊
