Got mine taken out 6 days ago. Not a single bit of pain yet. The worst things during this have been the anesthesia feeling after the removal and stressing over getting dry socket 💀

I've never been afraid of going to the dentist, but when I removed the one wisdom tooth I've had removed so far, I very nearly fainted from the anesthesia, the dentist even called an ambulance. I was starting to see psychedelic patterns on the ceiling and honestly thought I might be done for.
The next day I got a different form of anesthetic (and not very much -- I could feel the cutting). I just hope she remembers what kind of anesthetic I'm (apparently) allergic to. I'm afear'd it might be the end of me if I ever get injured and they give me that kind of anesthetic.

I just got mine taken out on Wednesday, do you know when I will be able to eat regularly again? My Dr's name was Kyle Shiffler, he took really good care of me, I am just not sure how long it takes to heal from wisdom teeth removal surgery??

What happens to the hole in the jawbone? Does it fill with bone again, or does it result in bone recession and bone loss?

Had mine removed on Monday (11/27) and the first two days were absolute torture. It’s day six now for me I’m feeling better again and slowly introducing more foods to my diet since I was only able to eat liquids and stuff like pudding and applesauce 🥰

Mine they took out early the wisdom teeth didn't even have hard enamel they were soft and tiny compared to my other teeth. They were also still under my gums still and only started showing up when I was 17 and they took them out a few months before my 18th birthday. I have always had a small head and jaw and had some baby teeth pulled to make room for my adult teeth when I was 7.

My dentist took mine out because he said if he ever had to work on them, he wouldn’t be able to get to them. They did come in nice and straight though.
