If I had a chance I would love to explain to him that I am married, have a four year old I take to and from school everyday, study full-time, work and STILL manage to make dinner for my family almost every night all while applying to medical school and studying for the MCAT…. This guy really said mothers would rather attend to their children and family members that prioritize something like a corporate career.
If a mother encourages her children in their ambitions and shows her support at every team meet and award ceremony, the child feels proud. They achieved something, great probably enjoyed doing it, and impressed their parent with their work.
The funny thing about humans is that we love impressing people, making them feel proud of us, especially from a young age. We will strive to achieve more if it allows us to hold on to this feeling. I bet if this guy's parents didn't give any attention to him, from a young age, he would've ended up in a dead-end job he didn't care about and more mommy issues than he has now.

Family, love, and the small stuff are more important. So it’s admirable when people make sacrifices for their family. Plus by nature women are made to nurture, it’s no easy job being a Mom, that’s already ambitious in itself. So women that balance the family life PLUS their own hygiene, mental health, physical health, income, school, career, and ambitions are MORE than any definition of “ambitious”.
There’s more to life than ambition. And most Women are powerhouses, even if they don’t seem the most ambitions. Let’s all start doing our best and just being kind rather than judging one another. May God protect you and your family. Enjoy the good times, because you never know when they will be gone. I’d rather chase after love and happiness instead of money ❤️

That is true tho. Generally speaking women dont tend to chose higher paying jobs because generally speaking higher paying jobs are relatively more demanding of the person. Generally speaking men choose these jobs. That isnt to say women cant do the same jobs, of course they can.
This is why the wage-gap has been debunked a billion times.

I was in a class once for work. A supervisor sent himself to the class even though it was for junior analysts but he "wanted a break". He was talking and said that if it was up to him he wouldn't hire anymore women because they are too much drama.
