I live about 100km from Carnac, It really is a great place to see, and imagine tat most of those stones diapered because they where used to build houses during the middle ages , it means that there was a huge field full menhirs everywhere. They look small on this video but I can assure you that some of them are huge !
Menhir and dolmen are two words that come from the breton language, they respectively mean standing stone and table of stone.

All right this is going to sound out there, but I heard a theory about stones like this being, the petrified timbers of ancient ships. Ships as in suddenly submerged, As in great flood or mega tsunami type sinking and then petrifying after the waters receded. I believe the place where that theory originated was in Scandinavia. It may be far fetched, but it makes sense in some cases where small clusters of rocks are grouped like a marina….. just something to think about. I’ll show myself out….😊
