The P210 looks like it would be the more comfortable pistol at first glance since it has a more elegant shape against the comparitively blocky 1911. If only the Swiss had adopted the double stack prototype then it might have more of an edge over the 1911.

The sig is a target pistol while the 1911 is a true combat pistol. Both fine weapons in their own right. It reminds me of the British quote from WwI about how the Germans went to war with a hunting rifle, the Americans with a target rifle and the British with a battle rifle
