Dude, that is so well explained. Most instructors just don't mention this amount of detail when you move. They just describe what you see, not what you feel when you do it (or aim for).

It’s crazy I’m seeing this because I had to discover this for myself last night. I realize that my abs are incredibly weak compared to my back. Makes sense because I worked out my back for like 15 years and probably never did abs more than a couple of dozen times. I found myself in a plank position and I felt all of my abs engaged, it released the tension that my back had overworking to hold up my body

Holy crap. Ive struggled with shoulder impingement for as long as I can remember and never understood why. I was a gymnast for 10 years and ofc my posture always had to be shoulders back... you mightve just saved me many more years of pain

PT had me pull my shoulders back because I hunched forward too much, have stenosis with degenerative disk disease going on per MRI. Her recommendation changed my life. Also the neck contraction . So I’ll try this to add. Thank you.

Thank youuu. I've been looking for this kind of advice because I've always been taught to stand up "straight" by pulling my shoulders back and ended up with too much stress on my lower back from arching it.

I actually have lower back pain from overarching for years and my shoulders are hunched up just like the video showed. All I wanted was good posture
