Doc, how do you deal with being exposed to so much trauma, stress, and emotion in the lives of others? Do you ever feel frustrated by the calamities we humans bring on ourselves and / or that befall us through no fault of our own? Can you talk with us about this?

Can you speak in general about some of the more promising treatments currently available to deal with PTSD type of trauma? My therapist recommended I look into EDMR & STEM therapy as those might be promising. Mostly I need the perpetrators in my life held accountable as that would be ideal. I think that would be the best start for me. Unfortunately time is not making my situation any better. I need to feel better so I can be the best support system possible for my children, as I am a single mother. Whatever helps me will ultimately help my children. I know how much you love your family. I would love to research anything you might recommend. Thank you & God Bless #healingmyheart
