Early Alkan did put a huge emphasis on technique, and he used it to build his music

You were speaking as fast as the guy was playing the piece. Maybe you are the one trying to evoke to motion of a train.

I'd love to see full videos of you diving into music like this. I was never formally taught and these sort of topics fascinate me.

On the part after the end of the video, I like to imagine that the train enters a tunnel with lights passing by every now and then

彼のop17は素晴らしいがop27は森下唯の演奏の方が素晴らしいです

Great playing, but I’m certain he meant his metronome speeds half as fast, counting full swings back and forth. Even depicting a train, this seems incredibly rushed. If you’re not familiar with the (beautifu) piece, the harmonies and figurations seem sped up, not evocative

Johnny Cash Orange Blossom Special mimics a train way better.

i love your content, and i’m a big fan of Alkan, but you NEED to speak a bit more slowly and clearly

I don't want to be rude, but I didn't understand big portions oh your speech. Please make the effort to slow down and articulate for better clarity. 😅
