I went to the Krispy Kreme in Galway on my last visit to Ireland. They did a fair job. I'm partial to the glazed ones when they are hot. The company started in my home state of North Carolina.

I love Krispy Kreme but prefer the simple glazed donut. I just wish they were closer. They used to sell it at the grocery but now just have Entenman's. There is one in the next town over or two expressway exits.

Good Accent Impression You sound like a American Southerner. I agree with You. Apple pies with a flaky crust taste better than in a doughnut Apple Pie like McDonalds or Mrs. Baird's Apple pies from the grocery store.

I really love them. Straight out of the fryer. Nice and hot. I still can't find anything that equivalates to that. I do like Dutch cakey donuts also, but my ultimate favorite are the fried donuts, probably the worst for you but so good.

A straight up glazed or chocolate glazed, best doughnut in the world! Forget the cake, or the other variations.

I've had apple pie donuts from other shops and they're okay but i'd rather a slice of pie. The same can be said for the Boston Creme Pie donut.
