I'm an electrician and I own the dewalt 20v version of this. Its a game changer for quick jobs, attic and crawlspace work and when you dont feel like swinging a hammer.

I just had the chance to use the DeWalt one today. This one is gonna be smaller, lighter and will use the battery type I use. It’s straight up going to change how I work, replacing the hammer for much of the job.

Thank god Milwaukee is coming out with a cable stapler. I had the dewalt and it shit the bed mid rough, so hopefully they learned a lesson from their competitors fuck up and created a godsend for us electricians.

Milwaukee is about 5 years too late with this. I have dozens of M12/M18 tools, but I bought the DeWalt cable stapler because I got tired waiting for Milwaukee to release one.

We have one at work it isn’t rated for but can also staple 8 and 6 wire, just gotta make sure you don’t run the staple thru the wire lol

Interesting that with the battery mounted in a different position, the handle still has the traditional M12 girth that some people complain about.
