I like that he marked the area where he feels the numbness/pain. Visualization of whats going on is a good idea

True story. I was in the Amazon in colombia an seen a plant that looked exactly like a cannabis plant. Same exact leaves but they were huge. Pulled a leaf off an was walking through the jungle to catch up with everyone else when our guide noticed what leaf i was holding. He yelled at me to drop it an then began rushing me to the river. Before we got to the river my hands started tingling and then burning. By the time we got to the river i could barely move my fingers. Washed my hands profusely and used river rocks to try an scrape the poison off my skin. Learned a valuble lesson that day! Do not mess with plants that youre unfamiliar with!

ā€œAlmost like a numb static feelingā€ Wow itā€™s almost like you injected yourself with a neurotoxin

That whole area on your forearm being numb indicates that the neurotoxin was impacting your T1 Spinal Nerve! Crazy to think how that little bit of neurotoxin can impact your system like that

Stinging nettle is bad here in Australia. You become somewhat immune to the sting after a while

I grabbed an entire bush by accident on a walk, let me tell you Iā€™d rather be stung by 10 bees than to go back to that day

If Australia has the Gympie Gympie, then New Zealand has the Unga Unga.

Phytophotodermatitis isn't anything to play with. Depending on your body and its reaction to stinging plants. The rash can become increasingly worse and last up to 4-5 months. I got it bad earlier this year pulling weeds. A variety of bull thistle was more than likely the culprit. Wear long sleeves and gloves when dealing with plants you're unfamiliar with for your own safety.

You can itch so bad it hurts. I have experienced that sensation a few times in my life, and it sucks. Scratching does nothing to help. You just have to tough it out, not even ice, and lidocaine helps when that feeling is from your deep nerves, not just the ones in your skin.

Dont know why you'd do that but thanks for confirming it's bad I guess.
