As an orthodontist, I highly recommend to consult with a professional first to see if you are a candidate for this product or not. Also there are other factors to consider like wisdom teeth, Mal-Oclusion or bad bite, jaw pain or crooked mandibule, and possibly the need of professional treatment with braces for both maxilars teeth (top and bottom teeth) to avoid a traumatic bite that can waste away the molars and premolars. Sometimes, when professional treatment is needed, and instead one goes down the "cheap and commercial" route, it turns out worse or more expensive later.

I had braces for about three years when I was in Junior High and High School. Like, the old metal stuff. This kind of technology wasn't common back then, and my teeth were so far out of line that I don't think these would have been an option. Still, good to see that this works for some people.
