Isn’t this because this is the optimal shape. They all use software adding the number for how much force is applied, then the program tells them this is the optimal shape and you 3D design around the given shape (“generative design”)

Kind of like formula 1 cars (though regulations mean they start looking similar anyway). Similar performance objectives and manufacturing technology causes design convergence.

Yup, they're all converging into similar designs (if not exact already!!!)
But this might be a good thing for consumers.
If eventually they look the same, perform the same and quality is similar, then the logical next step would be that they'd start to compete with lower prices.
I don't think it'll happen so soon but i hope it does eventually.
