As we all know, Slash is a wonderful guitarist not only for his song writing efforts with Gnr and Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators but for is extremely well constructed solos from the very first Guns n Roses album to his latest offering with his solo project. This use of pentatonic scales throughout and combination pop the natural minor and harmonic minor scales is so great. The movement and melody created but the combination of those scales is absolutely wonderful, allowing the solos to be a huge compliment to the songs in a story telling way. Every solo has a journey within and flow seamlessly. So, this lick is just a snippet of the slash lick vocabulary, and one that should be learnt and stolen for your own solos! #slash #guitar #tutorial #guitartutorial #guitarpractice #learnguitar #gunsnroses #licksforsolos #guitarlicks #pentatoniclicks #improveyoursoloing

Been practicing this lick for years and my picking hand just never feels comfortable nor can it keep pace with my fretting hand. I need to revisit it now that I have more chops though.
