Of course you say the Name of Allah and you pray.. That has nothing to do with not making any efforts of your own .... I usually respect everything Dr Bilal Philips has to say but this is the most horrible and disrespectful way to make his point. If you become a sheikh by Allah's Mercy, that doesn't give you the license to say anything you want.. Some of us got what he was trying to get at but it could have come without the "joke" around reciting Allah's Name and seeking His Help through it or calling it a "scam"... Why would anyone...? Yani? .. May Allah Mercy and Forgive us all and Give us all hidayah and increase us in knowledge and goodness. People teach each other etiquettes but forget them when it comes to the One Who is Most Deserving of all Respect and for Whom is all Praise? I hope the sheikhs have time to learn it on top of all the knowledge they have acquired..

Subhan Allah. Some people in the comment section clearly did not get the sarcasm. The sheikh is saying NOT to believe such foolish things where a person tells you to โdo this and then stand on your head and then say thisโ. Meaning itโs not from Islam. Just make dua to Allah to get married and take the halal practical means.
