This is a very good high level overview of classical Greece. If you would like a suggestion, one on the Greco-Persian War and one on the Peloponnesian War would also be interesting.

The last image seen is one of the last remaining depictions of Greek high classical two dimensional art. It's such a wonderful piece as it describes the battle between Alexander the Great and the Persian King Darius there are so many nuanced images in this depiction I highly recommend looking into. Any frescos or paintings you see of ancient Greece are from later generations, especially the Renaissance. There are accounts, luckily, of Greek scholars describing

I love Greek History. i always found it interesting we call them Greeks and there lands Greece but Greeks called their land Hellas and themselves Hellenes.
