It's actually funny that when some other group makes a 2yk concept they say they are copying NJ, but when NJ receives the accusation they say it's just a concept... Twice when he released TTT was accused of copying NJ because they used the 2yk concept and neutral colored clothes on one of the stages promoting the song. 🤡 People should have fair opinions with everyone, including considering that the concept of NJ may have been based on Jeans, and it is the fault of the management not the members.

And those are just pictures... If you really spend time to search for each individual similarities, they have very different premise! Like the dance, although it looks very similar, are very different! And also the typography, a font that's literally used a LOT back in 1990-early 2000s and the name... NewJeans are actually New Generation (Genes) but they changed it to Jeans because it's a timeless piece of fashion 🤦🏽♂️

Imo, illit creative team took as much inspo from new jeans as new jeans creative team did from jeans.
That is, INSPIRATION- not copying. I do think new jeans is better at utilizing its inspo and building their own look and style than illit, but honestly all this shows how ideas move from one gen to another.
I wish ppl would pay attention to actual plagiarism instead of this stupid back and forth.
