It has to be said: don't spray WD40 in your eye(s). It displaces water (Water Displacement formula 40) so won't help unless you're a robot.

"Biological WD40" is how i shall refer to my eyedrops from this day forth

Can also be caused by neck and jaw muscles putting pressure on certain nerves. Whenever my left shoulder siezes, it travels all up to make my left eye and eyebrow go twitchtastic.

you might also check your Potassium and Magnesium. I have low retention of those two, my body flushes it out too fast for some reason. When I get that twitchy eyelid, It usually means that I have low levels and bad cramps will usually follow. Taking some magnesium/potassium supplements fixes it quite fast.

Over the years I've also found that my eye twitch suddenly gets better when I get new glasses with an updated prescription

When you say "looking at screens" the eye strain You're referring to isn't caused by looking at something that emits light or because of the refresh rate or anything like that, It's simply your focal length is held in one spot for a long time, just like if you held your arm in one spot for a long the three muscles would get sore. You could get the same eye strain from staring at a tree twelve inches away for a couple hours.

Doesn’t have to be a screen you’re staring at. I developed an eye twitch 20 years ago while taking a drafting class!

Instructions unclear. I now have WD40 in my eyes, and my eyeballs are slipping out.

This twitch happened to me when my dentist used anesthesia for my upper teeth to clean my root canal. She put the anesthetic solution so deep that when it started to feel normal again I started to have this twitch for half an hour. It was scary 😟
