I think the mailbox is a forgotten feature in GW2

Remember when they used to do "character showings" and you could buy the select character for 150,000 is you liked them during the "free usage" period?
They even sold packs that contained stuff specifically for that character, they had "Chomper Pack" "Soldier Pack" and it had pieces for those characters, as well as customizations and abilities for that class, they even sold the pack in the shop, like when I got Chomp Thing it read
"This pack contains Chomp Thing, how we stuffed them into this pack is another matter entirely"
And if it was a legendary character, you couldn't buy them.
I remember seeing Toxic Waste Of Time on trial and I binged them to Super Elite 5, with help from town hall events.
Remember Community Challenges? Those rewards were pretty sick.
Remember playing the old minigames? I remember playing Cats vs. Dinos, I remember Boss Hunt, I wasn't around for Soil Survivors or OG Randos. I remember beating the Brothers Gnomus on normal and crazy, however I never beat them on Hard, so no achievement for me :(.
I still remember doing it with my Mechanic, that game was so much fun when it was still getting support, and seeing the calendar they gave you, seeing what Boss Hunt was at the end of the month.
Wish they'dve put that in the mystery portal, open servers for Boss Hunt and Soil and OG Randos, could just axe some of the Suburbination servers to make space since nobody plays on those anymore.
Wish BFN never existed, it killed off GW2 and when it died it didn't bring GW2 back.

The one thing I will admit is that I got the bundles including the party characters back in the day.
To me, those were a convenient way to avoid grinding

I did buy the Twilight Chomper and Torchwood Hovergoat ones because I couldnât get Twilight Chomper by the time I got the game and I want the skins for Hovergoat and Torchwood

I remember when GW2 first released the mailbox was actually useful. Until early 2017 you are able to transfer your existing characters and user rank for rewards

The real draw in is buying the bundles when you already have the characters, super rare characters and legendaries give you a decent amount of coins

Does anyone else remember? When the game was alive every month they would pick 3 random variants for you to try out for the month and they would encourage you to buy them and the variant would have its own sticker pack in the shopâ.?đ¤

I have a crazy story for you about this game. When I was in 2015-2017 I was playing on an Xbox 360 and having the time of my life on gw2 or 1 idk,mind you I was born in late 2010 and didnât really have the greatest concept of money. My fathers credit card was actually connected to the Xbox and I saw that in order to get or do smth(I forgot much as it was almost a decade ago) I think there were these packs that could buy. One thing lead to another and I spent 311$ and was in debt to my dad for years.
