Birds are less prone to electrocution because they typically don't provide a pathway for electricity to flow. Their feet are often on separate branches, preventing the completion of a circuit. Additionally, birds' bodies have high resistance, reducing the likelihood of electric current passing through them. But not so for other animals. Animals that provide a better pathway for electricity, such as those with more points of contact or lower resistance, are more susceptible to electric shocks. How ever while birds are less prone to electric shocks compared to some other animals, they are not completely immune. If a bird creates a path for electric current to flow through its body by simultaneously touching a live wire and a grounded surface, it can still be affected.
