I think it would be interesting to look also at what makes analogue sound different than digital. It could result in randomizing certain parameters, saturate single voices differently and stuff like that.

Would love to know how to properly pan and layer chorus vocals for a much bigger sound! I do a lot of panning and still can’t achieve that pro sounding fullness.

I have been mixing since 1976, and mastering for about 5 years. I have mixed in some major studios where what I was hearing was a perfect representation of the mix. By far my biggest issue is monitoring. My room lies, so I am forced to use phones. While I have “learned” my phones pretty well, there is no substitute for quality monitors in a great room.
