We can all do with saving more money but if you keep working for years to come, will you be healthy enough to enjoy it? If you think you have enough money to retire now, why wait. All very good points. At 51 and with close to $2M in assets, early retirement and a move abroad is something we ponder everyday. My wife and I have dreamt of retiring and moving to Portugal or another Southern European country. Unlike the two of you (It took me some time to find the right partner) I have three young kids who will need to go to international school. A very huge expense for many years and not being able to at least work part time has me pondering a semi retirement here in AZ with many sailing and European trips in the meantime to make life enjoyable. I love your channel and you are an inspiration to me.
