I recently had to upgrade to a 12 ft fence as my greyhound Could jump my 9ft one from a sitting start, she didn't even need a run up. The first day the fence was completed she sat infront of it, staring it down and jumped. Her front paws touched the very top of the fence and she hasn't tried again since thankfully.

I know both of my dogs could do this without issue. I've seen them clear taller barriers without even touching them. But for some reason they respect chain link fences.
