So why do I wash my hair in four braids? Well hair is about 30% weaker when it's wet which means that breakage is more likely to happen when you're washing your hair. I had classic length (over the booty) for literally years and I suffered about 50-70% breakage in the mid-lengths through ends from protective styles. Tying hair off? You have to be really careful. If you can't do it loosely, don't do it at all!

I'm actually a little confused. My hair has always been long as well, perhaps not to my hips but at least below my bra strap. And even when it was long I've always used conditioner which kept my hair detangled very nicely. Rhassoul Clay is good but I've never seen it to be a conditioner that detangles the hair. Vinegar is also good for the hair but I've never known it to be a detangler. When I use vinegar I always use it after I rinsed out my conditioner. I use it as my final rinse.

I don't know how to say this in a nice way, but I'm not trying to be hurtful. Something about your hair looks dull/not reflecting the light. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the camera, or if it's something you intentionally changed something in editing to give your video a homely, earthy vibe.
