It’s a stripped down version that should be $25k but since it has a retro look & raised willys lettering on the hood, they’ll ask you to pony up with $40k of ur hard earned money. No thanks. Overpriced POS

I’d rather have a car that’s mechanically sound and doesn’t need constant software updates. It’s the same with construction equipment. Where I work we have machines that are 60+ years old that run like a top and brand new machines that break down every few hundred hours and need major repairs.

Went to a dealership yesterday and looked at a Wrangler 4-door Sahara edition. I do whole heartedly believe $63,000 is way too much. They even had a Wrangler S for $54K.

While I prefer the box Defenders and the Grenadier, if Jeep was to make this very much more comparable with the original by just giving us the bare bones with a basic 4cyl diesel paired to a 5 speed manual, basic fabric seats, minimal screens and a focus on buttons, analog dials and easily available off the shelve parts; I could see people getting it because it would be something in style with what the original Jeep was, and cheap

I have a genuine Willys M38 and I wouldn’t trade it for anything, but I do like that houndstooth seat fabric.
When I was a little kid in the 1970s my parents got me blue houndstooth carpet for my room and I’ve loved houndstooth ever since!

I LIKE IT! You can keep the hidden bar. Thats a ticket or two looking for a place to happen. I drink, but not when driving. Uhh, open containers, hidden compartments are illegal in some states unfortunately. The Jeep is so cool. I'm an old school guy.
