Recently when I've been doing strength training I feel guilty I feel like I'm not going to make any progress because I'm not lifting heavy like everyone says you have to lift heavy otherwise you're not going to see results, I know there's nothing wrong with lifting at your level my level is not very strong right now I want to progress and get stronger but I feel pressure to force if by lifting heavy but at the same time I just can't do it! How do I deal with the guilt feelings of not being able to lift heavy because everyone says you have to lift heavy I swear it never ends!!!! I don't want to fall into another unhealthy relationship with exercise!! I felt recovered from years of "eat less move more", "no pain no game",,,, "if it doesn't hurt you're not doing it right". I want to listen to my body and my body is telling me I am not strong enough to lift heavy weights while everyone else is telling me you will never get stronger if you don't lift heavy AAAAAHHHH !!!! It's so frustrating how do I find a balance to not fall into another disorder????
