Decide your own wedding dress. Your mom can have her opinions, but never the final say. She shares opinion, not persuade you with it. It's YOUR wedding. She has had her's. Moms need to step back and let their daughter enjoy their wedding journey. If the mom didn't get the chance to because their mom bossed them around, too bad. They had their chance and they didn't take it. Just because theirs was ruined, it doesn't mean they should ruin other's. Even when the mom's paying, she is there SUPPORTING her daughter with her money. The daughter should always have the final say in her dress, unless the dress have some safety issues like it being flammable.
