Horrible take for the rest of the world section. BYD and Tesla will be big, yes, but in terms of hardware, construction and fit and finish, Tesla is not even in the competition. BYD I don't personally know, but looking at video reviews I don't think they can compete with some of the European and Japanese brands. And lastly, I think it's disrespectful to omit Hyundai Motors from the competition. They currently have one of the biggest varieties of electric cars (small city cars up to 7 seaters) and they are also second best in terms of software behind Tesla (again, not counting the Chinese as I have not seen enough). I am not even touching on the self driving capabilities, but Hyundai literally owns a fleet of self driving taxis already
BYD and Tesla will be SOME of the biggest players in the rest of the world, but calling them the biggest or the "only" ones is sensationalistic and flat out wrong.
