Strength side you guys have changed my relationship with my body DRASTICALLY. I used to be a young competitive bodybuilding and my successes only turbocharged that path... As I grew out of love with the sport I couldn't step away from the training which lead to a cycle of injury and upset over body image... I have been for the last 3 months practicing a very different movement routine inclusive of bodyweight, crawling and mobility and I haven't felt the smallest tingle of ailment. Your content has changed my trajectory, my relationship with my body and MOVEMENT. I am very grateful for your messaging and vibes. Thank you boys so much ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ•‰๏ธ

I'm really enjoying your content. I really want to learn how to be able to do those types of things. Unfortunately, I am recovering from some years of damage from falling down some stairs. But I am in motion. And I am trying to be as flexible as possible. But I really look forward to your content. Thank you so much.

This video tripped me up. Didnโ€™t think letting go of the kettle bell at the end would be hard, but I immediately fell backwards ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ very cool

I been able to squat ass to grass for a good while now, which is weird cuz I'm the world's least flexible person when it comes to anything else. But i never thought of this as a flexibility issue. I thought of it as a strength issue. I didn't have the strength to hold myself up well at the very bottom of the squat range after my two back surgeries. So i worked on stabilizing myself lower and lower. While my barbell squat was not quite as low as you show in the video, it's a full range competition squat. I left the gym a few months ago, giving urp the intense lifting for a while. I'm 41 and my crazy and active life is catching up to me. I kept hurting my shoulder in the gym, tearing and retearing a tendon. Surgeon wants to do surgery on both shoulders. And my knees were starting to get wonky. Plus the two aforementioned back surgeries from my time in the army. Now I'm working out in my cheaply put together home gym. I'm training karate and kickboxing again. I work a lot on mobility, stability, flexibility, and cardio conditioning. Hoping if i can get all my connective tissue stronger and longer, i won't hurt myself as much when i go back to the weights. (No nothing was caused by bad form. I'm a seasoned lifter. I used to mt bike and bmx pretty hard, and that comes with lotsa injuries. I've done some crazy stuff in my life.) I can caveman squat all day. I'm working on my frog walks, but it hurts my right knee. Any advice on how to get those going better? Basically walking in a caveman squat position.

This is mainly an exercise in flexibility. I mean, yes, power is included. But for the people who can't do a resting sitting deep squat, they can be physically strong but still not be able to do this squat. We usually came across this with martial arts students. This is one of the ways that you can force that squat.

Half squats are themselves an exercise. But deep squats are the only way to mobilize those joints. It's all about the right tool for the job.
