Thank you so much for doing this short, Katie! Iām growing Mullien for the first time this year as my mom and nephew, who I live with, and my nephewās father, my brother, have asthma. They are all susceptible to lung related colds and such. I havenāt harvested any to process yet. Is it the leaf, flower, bud or any part that one makes tea.
Iām also growing comfrey for the first time as well at my momās request. I have the same query for comfrey as well.

I recently read that using a metal utensil with honey takes away some of the medicinal properties. Not sure if that is true but I got me a wooden honey spoon. Lol

I tried smoking the mullein with my husband once. I didn't care for it. It has the worst aftertaste in my opinion. We have A LOT of this growing on our land and all over these back roads. I think i will try dehydrating it and giving this way a try.
Make sure your tea is below 90Ā° before adding the honey. š

Interesting thing I learned of course on YouTube that honey has this certain enzyme that of course I donāt remember the name, and it is super good for us healing and immune but if the honey touches metal it distorts it. So they said always use wood or plastic. Just FYI. I enjoy your videos and watch often.
