Artist here!! Iâm here to explain why it wouldnât work, using color theory!! Basically the idea is âif 2 colors are opposites and you mix them together, they balance each other out and make whiteâ which would work, if it wasnât for the fact that the colors are physical pigments (like dye), and are thus subtractive (they make black / really gross brown if you mix them) instead of just light (like a phone screen), which are additive, and make white when mixed. They are operating on RGB logic when the colors theyâre working with are CMYK, and thus it wouldnât work.

Im a teenager who fell for this scam as well. It is so hurtful because im so insecure about my smile and all whitening products arent working as i have sensitive teeth. I worked my butt off to save up money for that order and spent every cent i had hoping to feel better about my smile. I am so sad it didnt work, all i wanted was to feel happy.

Hi smile is an Aussie brand so we do have laws against false advertising, they probably havenât had anyone individually sue or start a class action lawsuit yet. And yeah pretty much every Aussie I know knows hi smileâs whitening stuff doesnât work but everyone loves the flavoured toothpastes, especially me an autistic person who struggles with brushing. Iâm assuming they also didnât have the rights to use that audio from Monster High in an ad which they could get in trouble for
