The fact that he knew to turn the crank to fix himself means that he knows what’s happening to him when it plays. What possible motivations could he possibly have for putting himself through this MULTIPLE TIMES?!

As someone who has chronic cluster migraines, this is legit the type of stuff that I imagine in my head when I'm having a particularly bad headache.

SCP 6475-J is what appears to be a regular music box of ** make. Upon coming into posession of an instance of SCP 6475-J, a bearer will feel compelled to turn its key, upon which the box shall open, revealing a lining consisting of felt and, looking closely, strands of human hair. Various scents have been described, including but not limited to, rose petals, cotton candy, iron, and ****. Upon opening up its other various anomalous effects shall begin to occur. To begin, the player's head will be dislocated, and start to spin. It is at this point that the host should be designated as SCP 6475-J-C. Should the ensuing effects, described as a "performance" by several witnesses, be allowed to complete, 6475-J-C can be expected to return to civilian life with no adverse effects. However, cutting the performance off prior to any acts' completion results in permanent damage to the host, as well as an immediate activation of event "Act 4". In hopes of avoiding future Act 4s, access to 6475-J is limited to supervision by personnel of level 3 and above. In act 1, Various doll-like ballerina figures, designated SCP 6475-J-B also spawn. Though the quantity varies, it has been shown there is a minimum of one for each person in attendance. Attempts to view where 6475-J-B come from via CCTV footage have been met with both swift and reportedly painful ** **** *****. After completing a short dance, SCP 6475-J-A will appear, and act 2 will begin, varying in length. 6475-J-A is another doll that takes centre position within 6475-J-C's skull, now devoid of brain matter, blood, and several segments rotating independently of one another. Act 3 has any instances of J-B collapse, as J-A begins to weep and scream. Witnesses describe these screams as a mix of sadness, and of hatred. The played music takes on a distinctly distorted tone, and despite J-A's apparent distress, witnesses feel compelled to laugh and applaud. It is the foundation's advice that this urge is to NOT be resisted. Following a few dozen seconds of this, J-C's head shall close, and a brief turn of the key will reset any remaining abnormalities. The host should only feel a slight discomfort. Act 4, also designated "Slow Dancing in the Dark", sees all instances of SCP 6475-J-B attack an audience member, seperating their skulls via ** and **************, becoming their own instances of 6475-J-A, and transforming their new host's skulls into instances of 6475-J through a process of ***************. It is to be stated that these new instances of 6475-J-A exhibit personal characteristics of the audience members they burrowed into, a foody may perform an act of eating during Act 3 for example, though any link to them containing the audience member's soul is yet to be found, and it is thought this is simply a mimicry of the host's memories by what is essentially a parasite. Due to its propencity to replicate itself, and its capabilities regarding mind control, all instances of SCP 6475-J are to be destroyed when capable, and all others are to be sealed within a 10 by 10 inch lead lined safe, with at least 10 feet of distance between it and any common areas.

fun fact: the human neck only has to go through three complete revolutions to twist off completely.

The man looks calm enough to go through the most disturbing and profound scene, I love him, whoever made the animation should be hired for something

beautifully morbid. i love how the ballerinas look like they are the ones in control and tormenting this human but they seem to be in anguish. maybe forced to dance eternally and suffering at what it does to their victims. food for thought, in any case, amazing animation and story.
