I talked with an Israeli friend about a similar situation where IDF forces bombed the Church of Saint Porphyrius in Gaza and asked if that wasn't proof that what Israel was doing was wrong as it was a textbook example of a war crime according to the Geneva Conventions, which Israel is a signatory of.
His response was that since Hamas had(according to him) stacked military supplies in and around the building(even if the custodians had been forced to cooperate under duress), it had become "a valid military target." He said the same with in regards to holy building, every hospital, and every civilian building you could think of.
When I asked if he was at least open to the idea of a ceasefire to let foreign aid in, he said no as he believed that it would be just another way for Hamas to smuggle weapons in by "Hiding ammunition in every sack of rice".
Let's just say that him and I are not friends anymore.

The first minaret you show is clearly not the same as the later pictures. I know i have seen it on several sites when looking for pix of this mosque. But they're not even the same style! They've destroyed so many mosques I'm sure there are plenty of pictures to choose from but somewhere along the line someone chose the wrong one.

"It seems that the Israelis, in their goal of eradicating the Palestinian people..." If that's true, then why aren't they attacking the West Bank simultaneously? Are you sure that Israel is engaging in ethnic cleansing? Their stated goal is to depose Hamas. Although civilians are undeniably caught up in the fighting, quite seriously in fact, and atrocities have certainly been committed. I do agree that there should be a ceasefire. Regardless, this short came across to me as overly political.
