Why aren't you talking about Toshiba drives? I HATE Seagate drives. I bought 4 6 tb ironwolf drives for my Asustore Lockerstore 4 and within two weeks they were throwing trouble codes. Returned them to Amazon and replaced them with Toshiba Nas drives. Haven't had a single problem with them at all.

The main thing when looking into drives for your NAS is to look at the writing method to be CMR. Some manufacturers labelled their SMR drives as NAS, which is the main cause for errors that start popping up like popcorn on them.
