Yes!! I never realized it wasn’t normal. It was so normal to me all my life that, like I thought I just had to deal with it for as long as I had a period. I suffered intensely with PMS symptoms. The week before the start of my period was dreadful for myself and my husband. Bloating, anxiety, and a range of wild emotions. Mostly irritability and anger, which would cause tension in day-to-day interactions with anyone. Normally, I am NOT an angry or irritable person. I’m very much chill and positive vibes. I knew this! My husband knew this! So, I finally decided to try to do something about it and I took a Chinese medicinal approach to treating my PMS and period symptoms. I was given some herbs and my NEXT PMS week (first one after having started herbs) my symptoms improved significantly. Heck, my vomit inducing cramps during my period (scale of 1-10) went from like a 20 to an 8. This last period I just finished, cramps were like a 2. It’s been 3 months since starting the herbs (which I only took for Day 1 of PMS each month) and I haven’t had outrageous PMS symptoms!! Gone. I’m more than thankful and relieved that I decided to do something about it. It was easy too, with Chinese medicine. Made my wonder why I never did this sooner. 🙏
