And what's neat with FSR is it's what's considered a true four bar linkage So essentially because the pivot is in front of the rear wheel that means that there's four independent bars in the suspension which means it basically limits any of the pedal feedback going through the chain of the bike It also allows for pretty active braking at the expense of a little less control under pedaling forces So that means a bike like this is say not going to climb as well as some of the others that are out there but with a good tune good leverage ratio going into this Fox Float X it should still pedal pretty well on the trail And the beefy 36 millimeter stanchions should help control this bike And all that geometry and spec is done on this M5 aluminum frame So this uses their manipulated tubing that Specialized is very good at on their aluminum bikes
