I recently got press on nails, and no joke - I've had them on since right after Christmas and it's jan.23 rn!! I only reapplied once (and I was doing some tricky hand work) - prep your nails well, and use a good glue (I used the one from glamnetic) and they should last a long time!

This is unrelated but I love this channel because usually when I watch beauty videos (which I love doing) it inspires me briefly and then lowers my self esteem and I feel this strong pressure to look a certain away but you don't make me feel like that...ever! So pleasant and kind ❤

I had some purple nails from the same brand and they lasted a long time and the removal wasn't hard! I recommend matte ones because the shiny ones' top layer rubs off a bit

Nail glue is like super Duper flammable on fabric so I would suggest to do this on like tile or glass table .

So I finally tried press on nails thanks to you and I loved them 😊
But now that they're off my nails grow out and they're sooo damaged, the upper layers are breaking off. Anyone got any tips on how to prevent that

You need to wipe your nails down with rubbing alcohol after buffing also. Use a flexible nail file to rough up the inside of the false nail, where it will attach to your nail, to give the surface more texture for better adherence. I find that it works best to apply a very small amount of glue to both the false nail and your own nail. Then a MUST-DO: once you place the false nail down, firmly hold it in place for 15ish seconds and DO NOT attempt to move it. Nail glue (and any super glue) creates a structured bond between surfaces as it quickly sets, and any movement during this drying time will absolutely make that structured bond fail, resulting in either an extremely weak bond, or no bond at all. So hold the nail down very still, allowing the glue to work its super strength magic.
