My husband up and abandoned me after 26 years a few months ago ever since then I went no contact and changed everything I never even knew it was coming but he was an over the road truck driver and had narcissistic traits, verbally abusive towards the end and cheated. I found out later he has a new supply and moved out of our state and right in with her and her kids in Indiana. Thank goodness I never had kids with him he was very unstable throughout our marriage. You’re right they think the grass is greener on the other side but should have watered his own grass first and maybe we wouldn’t be going through this divorce. He having his fun now but it will only last a season I don’t understand why people want to start over at almost 50 after being with someone your whole adulthood. Oh well she can have him she will soon find out just like I did once a cheater always a cheater.

I truly didn’t believe that the no contact thing would actually work but to my fuckn surprise it actually worked and only took a week to work, I also found out that her rebound was cheating on her and treated her like shit, honestly I don’t even want her back anymore because now I feel like I’m just her 2nd choice, because if he didn’t cheat on her then she’d still be with him, plus I’m better off without her mentally and physically, and financially

This makes perfect sense to me now. After two months of no contact he finally reached out to me and after a few cordial minutes of how things have been with me he got so upset. He was so angry over things I didn’t even know had happened. I started to question myself and how I must have made him feel and what mistakes I had made. He turned everything around on me. Gaslighting me. Now it all makes sense to me.
