This is true for most players and when I see the replay of me getting killed by someone who shot my toes off it’s frustrating and I always wonder why so many players aim so low. I personally keep my crosshairs up and I always try to aim for headshots, causing a lot of the shots to fly over the target, but I’ll take that over giving someone a pedicure any day of the week.
