I absolutely despise modern "Jeeps" but this is actually pretty sweet. Throw a 5 speed in there and you're golden.

If they released a "Wrangler Shortcut" as a 2 door only jeep on a shortened Wrangler platform with basic options like this and made it sub $30k I bet it would sell like hotcakes.

Pretty neat. I remember there used to be some small offroaders on the market in the 90s...ie Samurai, Amigo, Tracker/Sidekick etc. This small Jeep is probably inspired by Mahindra's attempt to sell the Roxor in the US and the demand for that sort of small 4x4

They should license the contract out to a manufacturer that is already making short wheelbase , light 4x4s , with standard transmissions that are banned in the US .
Make something like the Samurai again …
There is an Indian company that’s already producing something close … a South African one too , I think .
They can’t sell their cars here because it undercuts US manufacturers … but under a license from Jeep ?
They won’t , but it would be so cool if they did !!!
