Solkadhi is a refreshing, tangy-sweet drink made with coconut milk and kokum . It is a popular drink from Kokan Maharashtra.
🥥 milk extracted from 1 large coconut
🥥 Kokum agal or juice as required
🥥 Salt and sugar as per taste
🥥 2-3 garlic cloves
🥥 2 green chilies
🥥 a piece of ginger
🥥 1 tsp cumin seeds
➡️ Blend the fresh coconut, chilies, ginger, garlic, and cumins seeds with some water and extract the coconut milk
➡️ Repeat the process thrice or until all the milk is extracted
➡️ Add kokum juice ( you can also soak fresh kokum in some water and extract its juice and add to coconut milk )
➡️ Add salt and sugar to taste
➡️ Add coriander leaves and serve chilled
