This is one of my favorite brands. I fell in love with them years ago, I like the simple designs and the durability of the bags, particularly straps. The hardware is nice too at least in older bags. I do not care for the ostrich pattern nor the “painted” and canvas type bags. My favorites are the all weather bags.

I just bought my first real grown up mommy lady bag, a black satchel dooney & bourke with a beautiful repeating stamped pattern of Disney characters. The black gold and red is a color combo that I drool over. I did pay $370, but I will have this for as long as I live. The sturdiness of the bag is incredible, too. I love what the bag represents: that I worked hard enough to earn a living that made such a bag within my price range, and it is my first purchase that I made for a designer bag on my very own. I used to think it was stupid to have a bag that was so heavy, but I understand now that the weight can be an indicator of the quality. And so I appreciate that extra weight, because I know what it means and what it took for someone to make that.

I have the all weather leather essex bag in medium bone color. It was purchased 2013 and is in good condition until now despite being used and abused

I love my Dooneys! I want to give a suggestion to take a look at the Henrys collection on the Dooney site. The leather appears to be premium and they use palladium hardware on the bags.

Yes the color of the :yt: kislux :yt: is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

I like this brand and Ostrich leather in their lighter cream colors. But I will only buy it used for a better price-point.
