Hi Good tips. I got some things through gear garage ! Hey I thought a video on what you should carry on a day hike be prepared for anything ! I just read about the girl that died on Mt. Lafayette last Nov. She was not carrying much at all! Nothing for survival.

Each piece tells a story about my love affair with hiking. I start my thruhike attempt at the end of March. I completed the Appalachian Trail last year in sections (40 years). It only whetted my appetite for the "Long Walk" as the first end-to-end hiker, Earl Schaffer, called it.
