Fun fact: undertale was originally a practice/proof of concept project because toby didn't feel confident in starting his big idea for an indie game he had in his head for years (the big idea originated from a game ending he had in a fever dream and eventually became deltarune)

Oh my gosh those cosplays gave me so much nostalgia. Dream, Error, Fresh, even that obscure Overtale cosplay. There’s even an SMG4 hat! Man, I miss those days. Finding super obscure AU’s and becoming obsessed with them. There will never be another fandom like that.

Fun fact: Toby thought of deltarune way before undertale, and made undertale more of a test game, because deltarune was a much bigger project. He gave up on the idea of deltarune but was so obsessed with an idea he had for its storys ending that he had to at least try to create it.
