I made this recipe this morning. I usually use evaporated milk and sweeten condensed milk but i dont always have them on hand so im so glad to know a new way to make arroz con leche with items i always have. It was delicious!

Thanks for this version of arroz con leche! This is pretty much the same way my mom has always made it. Most recipes I see call for the use of sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk. I’ve tried it, and they make for a delicious rice pudding that tastes better cold. But like you said in your recipe, some versions are enjoyed hot/warm and you nailed, Claudia! 👏

I use evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk instead of regular sugar. It comes out delicious too and creamy.
