This movie will stand the test of time and is regarded as one of the greatest movies ever made. And it wasn't just a movie. It was the soundtrack and many of the actors careers were propelled by this movie. To try to make a sequel could never stand up to the original movie. As a direct result it would receive bad publicity both from word of mouth and from the critics because it did not live up to the reputation of the original movie. It's unfortunate, but when things are so great, Sequels really do great damage to themselves. And so it is best to Leave Well enough alone. But let's be intelligent about it. Rome has many Stories about corruption, governance, Slavery, Wars, Mythology and religion, Et cetera. A smart screen writer and producer (Tommy Shull in NYC) Will be able to take, for example, a great book written during the times of rome and make a movie of it. And so the things that made this movie great are what the producers should be looking at. Not trying to do a sequel or copy and reproduce. Before this movie was made there was none equal to its value. So let's get original and let's make lots of money using some of the same lessons learned in this movie. Rome has many great stories; Find another and make another great moving Using the same principles that made this one great. And by all means , please do not forget the most excellent music which helped to make the movie as great as it is. Don't use trashy Popular music, but rather do what this producer did and hire great orchestras and musical leaders including vocalists for soundtracks. Great movies are more than just great actors. It includes music, costumes, sets, scripts that are real, Ivocalists As well as high quality managers and producers. In short, it is the entire package and this movie Sets the example on how it is done. Please don't make a trashy sequel, Or any Sequel at all because it takes away from the original greatness.
