It taught me boundaries and to vocalise stand up for myself whenever anyone is abusive or disrespectful.
I’m very sensitive to people’s energies so it’s good to be selective as to who gets access to us.
When I was younger I use to tolerate this shit because I didn’t know any better.
Thankfully due to my healing journey I’m very grateful that I have the self respect to not tolerate what I don’t deserve.
I don’t tolerate narcissists and won’t have these cold hearted manipulators in my life.
They were only ever there to hurt us and teach us a lesson
Once we learned the lesson we banish narcissists out of our lives for good

I remember having no real voice or opinion when I was younger. Had a hard time speaking up for myself etc. I remember when I started making that change in my early 20s. It started working for me in certain social groups but what was crazy to me is starting to be on the other side of things for those who are still unable to speak up for themselves. Where I thought I was growing, I ended up needing to learn a new lesson in how to not talk over others and put them down on accident. Riding that line of being your confident self while still being consciously aware of those around you is still an important journey, I think.

Absolutely! When we are able to see the hard and icky stuff in life as meant to teach us the ways we need to grow, life makes more sense and you feel more empowered for what you need to learn.

That’s exactly how it is! ❤ It is not an easy way (the lessons I needed to learn had not been easy at all) but every step was worth it. Now I know, how to love and appreciate myself just for being me ❤

So damn true! As an empath, I've learned to create boundaries. I used to think that I was doing a service by putting my needs aside , I thought I was doing a service to us all. I was so wrong. Once I learned how to create boundaries, I was set free!❤
