This is actually a powerful realization when you come to it. I have been making it a point to be more vulnerable with the people around me because I am going through one of the darkest periods of my life and I know pretending to “have it all together” isn’t going to heal me. I choose to see my vulnerability as power now. I've found it excruciating to show it. My soul exploded out of me in 2021/22 + I showed myself in an honest way to someone I felt so deeply for. It has been so difficult although I can feel the vulnerability this person experienced was really beautiful. It does take courage. I am healing the shame now ❤ I guess seeing my vulnerabilities as powerful is owning it and that choice revises everything I felt shamed for growing up.

Exactly. People forget or don't realise sometimes that being authentically and unapologetically yourself is what helps attract the right people to you and those who are meaningful and deep connections that have lifelong purpose. People don't realise that this is how you stop attracting the wrong people who hurt you or are just time wasting surface level and superficial connections.
