I had warts on my arm as a kid. My mom took me to get them removed by a dermatologist but they just grew back. She took me to the doctor again and they GREW BACK AGAIN.
So she took me to this strange grandma‘s house and I thought she was crazy when she told me that grandma would talk to my warts and make them go away.
I was so uncomfortable the whole time because I never thought my mom would believe in stuff like this. I just felt so silly sitting there while a strange old woman was touching my arm and having a literal conversation with a growth on my body like that was a normal thing to do.
Anyway, the warts suddenly went away a few days later and never came back again. I still don’t know how to feel about that.
