I'm a mother to a 5 month old. And an indian, listen to everyone but you do what is right and fimilar to you. Motherhood in itself is very challenging and you have to preserve ur sanity so that u can raise a healthy and good human. Don't get discouraged by people being rude. Stay strong and keep smiling

I’m having a hard time with moving my son to his room. He’s 10mnths and he’s fine sleeping anywhere. But I get sad when he’s not next to me so I just end up bringing him right back in our room. I’m due to give birth in September so that’s why I’m trying to transition him to his own room but it’s been hard for me to let go. Gotta make room for baby #2 though!

baby monitors or not, sleeping in the same room as the mother greatly reduces the risk of SIDS during the first year of life. Me personally, all my children slept in the same room as me for the first year. & have better instints when your closer to baby that a moniter won't do if something were wrong. mother just knows. Anyway, every parenting style is different.
